We started Cardinal because the existing optionswere broken in opposite directions.

Cardinal Stacks builds, rescues, and runs production software for founders, operators, and businesses of all kinds. Three named founders. US-based delivery. Direct communication from the first email to the final handoff. No junior engineers introduced after the quote. No account manager sitting between you and the people doing the work.

Traditional agencies bury the work under discovery calls, statements of work, and account managers who cost the client money without touching the code. AI-coded prototypes ship fast but rarely survive contact with real users, and almost never survive a compliance audit. Cardinal sits between those two failure modes: a senior team that delivers production-grade software on a flat fee, with a written quote in two business days, then keeps it running on a flat monthly retainer.

02TEAM

The people who build your thing.

Kanji

Co-Founder, Technology & AI Systems

Kanji built the Cardinal operating stack from scratch, Pulse, Triage, Redactor, Worktree, Bug Catcher, and Scout, because the tools he needed to run AI-accelerated delivery in regulated environments did not exist. His background is in AI systems architecture and parallel-agent orchestration. He will tell you plainly when a client's AI integration plan creates a compliance exposure they have not thought through yet. That conversation happens before the build, not after.

Alex

Co-Founder, Operations & Strategy

Alex has built and run companies under HIPAA, in SEC-regulated financial services, and in healthcare AI, which means he has been the client, not just the vendor. He leads operations, strategy, and client relationships at Cardinal. He knows what it feels like to have a developer hand you something that technically works and practically does not, and he built Cardinal's engagement model specifically to prevent that outcome.

Nasir

CTO, Chief Software Engineer

Nasir leads engineering at Cardinal and sets the architecture standards every engagement is held to. He has shipped production systems across healthcare, financial compliance, and AI-integrated platforms, the kind of environments where a bad architecture decision has consequences that outlast the sprint it was made in. He is the person who pushes back when a scope change would compromise a decision made earlier for a reason. That is not a bottleneck. That is the job.

03HOW WE WORK

How we work with clients.

Send a brief, two paragraphs, a Loom, a sketch, whatever captures the idea. We read it ourselves, ask any clarifying questions in writing, and send back a written scope with a flat number within two business days. If the number works, we start. If not, you keep the audit and walk away with a clear picture of what the work actually involves.

No sales cycle. No upsell call. No recurring contact unless you ask for it. We are not trying to close a pipeline. We are trying to do work worth doing.

Every engagement runs on the same Cardinal operating stack we use for our own production systems, Pulse, Triage, Redactor, Worktree, Bug Catcher, Scout. After launch, you own everything: code, deploy, data, bill. We hand over a written runbook and 30 days of free fixes for anything that surfaces post-handoff. Then you decide what comes next. Most clients stay. Some run. Both are good outcomes.
